Dual Run – Back Way to Crown King

We will be joining Arizona Overdrive for a dual run. Off-road meets sport cars! We will all meet up in Crown King at The Crown King Saloon & Café in Crown King.
Popular, challenging offroad adventure to historic Crown King. Popular and challenging 4-wheel-drive route with lots of history. We’ve driven this trail several times over many years, and each time conditions were dramatically different. Our last drive found the middle portion difficult and the upper portion easy
Meet up: From the North we will be meeting at the Farmers Insurance office in Dewey at 853 S Dunivin Ln, Dewey, AZ 86327-6708 and departing at 7:30 AM where we will meet up with the South group at McDonald’s at 9:00 AM at 3140 W Carefree Highway, Phoenix, Arizona 85086.
Rating: Difficult -Very steep and rocky in spots. Elevation gain over 4,600 ft. High clearance and 4WD required. In our stock 4-door
Rubicon, we used our lockers several times.
Length: 25.3mi Time: 5+ hours
Vehicle Requirements: Minimum tire size of 33″ and at least one locker, sliders/skids, full size spare, extra fuel and be comfortable with possible damage.
