Spectacular north rim overlook inside Grand Canyon National Park.
Our favorite overlook on the north rim. We go in the main route that starts inside the park, and drive out an alternate way. This is the best and easiest route to follow on your way back from visiting the North Rim Visitor Center. At that point you’ve already paid the park entrance fee. It is also possible to see Point Sublime by following reverse directions and going in the alternate route. A permit is required if you camp overnight. OHVs are not allowed inside the park.
Park Entrance Fee – Grand Canyon National Park Vehicle Permit – $35
Due to the distance and length of trail, some of us will be camping overnight! We will be doing disperse camping near Jacob’s Lake on BLM land.
Trail Rating: Moderate -Much of the route is easy, but short intermittent sections can be narrow, steep and rough.
