This graded dirt road travels through fascinating scenery between Perkinsville and the former ghost town of Jerome. The trail travels on ridge tops and on a section of the old United Verde & Pacific Railroad grade as it makes its final descent into Jerome. The trail, which also forms part of the Great Western Trail, is roughly graded along its length, although a few rough spots make it more suitable for high-clearance vehicles.
