Centerforce I Clutch Pressure Plate
The Centerforce® I, Clutch Pressure Plate has been designed as a high-quality entry-level performance pressure plate for those in need of a superior stock replacement (disc sold separately). Using the Centerforce centrifugal weight system (where applicable). The Centerforce I clutch system is perfect for applications with stock engines or mild power increases from minor bolt-on modifications. The torque figures for Centerforce I Pressure Plates are based and calculated in conjunction with a Centerforce I & II clutch disc.
Clutch Alignment Tool
Alignment tools offered by Centerforce are standard alignment tools in black plastic. One alignment tool can be used for many different installations for the same application, leaving no need to replace the alignment tool with each clutch.
DFX Clutch Friction Disc
Centerforce® brings together high-quality friction materials and patented processes to give you top-of-the-line discs. Centerforce offers discs for the Centerforce I, Centerforce II, Dual Friction, LMC, and DFX series clutches. Each disc is designed to work best with a corresponding Centerforce pressure plate.
DFX Discs are stronger paddle style discs using ceramic materials for more aggressive engagement. These discs are replacements for Centerforce DFX pressure plates.
DFX Clutch Pressure Plate
The Centerforce® DFX® Clutch Series is the competition-proven clutch package for select import and domestic applications. This DFX series is engineered for competition standards of quality and craftsmanship. The DFX series is aimed at high-end applications that continually demand increased integrity and holding-capacity. DFX scores big, not only with holding-capacity and strength, but also provides some of the best drivability from a race-inspired single disc clutch.
The DFX series features the patented Centerforce centrifugal weight system (where applicable) and retains an easy pedal effort, thanks to Centerforce’s patented ball bearing actuated diaphragm, for smooth engagements without detriment to the vehicle’s release components. The Centerforce DFX performance clutch system is SFI approved for competition with Nodular Iron pressure plate rings and reinforcements designed to help prevent drive strap breakage and safety.
Note: Due to the materials used, the DFX clutch series is more aggressive with less dampening; this can cause some additional drive train noise and/or chatter.
Throw Out Bearing / Clutch Release Bearing
Throw Out Bearing (Release Bearing) by Centerforce is the highest quality available. In most applications the bearing is a direct Original Equipment (O.E.) replacement. Centerforce recommends changing the pilot bearing/bushing and release bearing during every clutch install.
