At Summit 4x4 Company, we take great pride in our ability to transform vehicles into off-road adventure vehicles. Recently, we had the pleasure of completing a comprehensive build on Mark’s beautiful 2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser which has only seen a shocking 30,000 miles. Combining our expertise with a range of top-tier upgrades, we elevated Mark’s FJ Cruiser to new heights, ensuring it’s ready to tackle any terrain that comes its way. Let’s delve into some of the upgrades we equipped Mark’s rig with.

To enhance the off-road capabilities of this tried and true Toyota, we installed Old Man Emu BP-51 shocks with remote reservoirs. These high-performance shocks offer superior ride comfort and control, ensuring a smooth and confident driving experience on any terrain. By incorporating Camburg upper control arms, we improved the FJ Cruiser’s articulation and handling, allowing Mark to navigate obstacles with ease. These serviceable control arms also help to ensure a factory alignment can be achieved once the lift is installed. Method Bead Grip wheels and Falken’s new Wildpeak R/T tires provide reliable traction and durability, giving Mark the confidence that his vehicle is well grounded and receives as much traction as possible.

At Summit 4x4 Company, we understand the importance of protecting the vehicle’s vital components during off-road adventures, especially here in Arizona. That’s why we added Demello Offroad front and rear bumpers to Mark’s FJ. These rugged bumpers not only enhance the vehicle’s aesthetic appeal but also provide essential protection against trail hazards. The large headlight loops provide protection against trees and brush, while the rear bumper improves departure angles while also adding much needed protection. The front bumper is also equipped with a Warn Zeon 10s winch, ensuring Mark is well-prepared to recover himself or others should the need arise.

To illuminate the path ahead and enhance visibility, we installed Baja Designs fog lights and light bars. These high-performance lighting upgrades offer exceptional brightness and longevity, providing Mark with enhanced visibility in various off-road conditions. The amber backlighting of these lights also provide a nice touch.
