Colton’s Pick: RockJock Antirock Sway Bars
When it comes to off-road upgrades, there are a lot of products that make life on the trail easier, but only a few that are truly essential. For me, the RockJock Antirock Sway Bar System is one of those can’t-live-without-it upgrades.
As a Jeep owner running 16” coilovers, stability has always been a challenge. That much suspension travel is incredible for articulation and conquering big obstacles, but it also means my rig can feel like it’s floating in off-camber situations. I needed something that would help control the body roll without sacrificing all the hard-earned suspension flex I worked so hard to achieve.
Enter the Antirock Sway Bar System.
Unlike traditional sway bars that lock down your suspension on the street and have to be disconnected on the trail, the Antirock is designed specifically for off-road use. It gives you the stability you need while still letting your suspension do what it’s meant to do—flex and articulate over the rocks.
Here’s how it works: The system uses a torsion bar that twists on itself as your suspension articulates. When one wheel starts to lift, it applies downward force to the opposite wheel, keeping your rig more planted and predictable. The result is better stability in off-camber situations and more control when the terrain gets sketchy.
One of my favorite things about the Antirock is the “install it and forget it” factor. Once it’s on, you don’t have to worry about disconnecting or reconnecting your sway bar when you hit the trail. It’s a truly low-maintenance product that makes it seamless to go from the street to the dirt and back again.
For me, this upgrade didn’t just improve my Jeep’s capability—it made it safer. With bolt-on and universal kits available for a range of vehicles, there’s an Antirock system to fit just about any build.
If you’re serious about off-roading and want more stability without limiting your suspension, this is one upgrade I’d recommend every time. It’s been a total game changer for my Jeep, and I wouldn’t hit the trail without it.
