KC HiLiTES Pre-Expo Party – A Perfect Kickoff to Overland Expo West
Back in May, just before the Overland Expo West madness kicked off, we made the drive up to Flagstaff for the KC HiLiTES Pre-Expo Party—and it did not disappoint. KC threw it down at their HQ with a full lineup of vendors, ambassadors, food, drinks, and good vibes to set the tone for the weekend.
We rolled in with the shop’s JL, plenty of gear, and a stockpile of s’mores supplies. First things first, we set the JL up flexing on top of our ramps because let’s be honest… why not make an entrance? From there, we got the canopies up, laid out all the product displays, fired up the fire pits, and settled in for a night of catching up with familiar faces and meeting new ones.
The party felt like a family reunion of sorts for the off-road and overland world. We hung out with Blair from Centerforce, Mike Hernandez from Fieldcraft, Jerry from Tembo Tusk, and the crew from Murphy’s Diesel. Michelle and Grace from Tread Lightly were there too, along with Will from McLeod Clutches and Jeff from Dirty Hands Happy Heart. And of course, Allan, Taylor, Christina, and the rest of the KC HiLiTES team made sure everything ran smooth and everyone felt welcome.
It wasn’t just about the brands and products—it was about the people. Great conversations, solid connections, and even better food and music. Big thanks to KC HiLiTES for hosting and giving us the perfect way to kick off Overland Expo week.
