Introducing Summit 4x4’s latest build, a gorgeous 2023 Jeep Wrangler JLU. Owned by Jeff King, this Jeep has undergone a comprehensive transformation, equipping it with top-of-the-line components and accessories designed to conquer any terrain he might face in his travels.

The first thing that catches the eye is the Metalcloak 2.5” Gamechanger Lift, which not only adds a bold stance but also enhances the Jeep’s off-road capabilities. Paired with 35” Falken Wildpeak R/T tires, this setup ensures maximum traction, articulation and control in various off-road conditions or when faced with challenging obstacles.

Complementing the lift is a set of Fox shocks with remote reservoirs, which provide exceptional damping performance and smooth out any bumps or washboard roads out on the trail. The RPM Aluminum Steering Links contribute to precise and responsive handling while also improving the front end aesthetic of the vehicle.

This JLU has been fortified with Icon Impact Front & Rear Bumpers, adding both style and durability to the vehicle. The front bumper houses a Warn Evo 10S winch and is equipped with recovery points to provide a reliable recovery solution for both Jeff’s Jeep and those he might wheel with.

With the added weight of the 35” tire and spare Method wheel, a Teraflex rear swing out was installed. This also provides Jeff the option to outfit his Jeep with larger tires in the future without the need to change out the rear swingout.

With the addition of the 4.56 Revolution Gears, the Jeep’s gearing has been optimized to accommodate the larger tires and provide improved torque. 4.56 gearing will also allow him to upgrade his tire size in the future without feeling the added weight as much. Artec Axle Trusses reinforce the axle housings, enhancing their strength and durability, which is crucial for demanding off-road conditions.

In addition to the Warn winch for recovery, we installed an ARB twin air compressor. This will provide Jeff a reliable air-up solution while also offering him the ability to use pneumatic tools should he need to perform trail repairs, inflate a kayak, or air-up his and his friends rigs after a trail run.

Recognizing the importance of safeguarding vital components, we installed the Metalcloak Undercloak Skid Plate kit. These skid plates provide a strong shield against rocks, debris, and other potential hazards lurking beneath the Jeep. Their unique design optimizes airflow in an attempt to keep mechanical components cool while also safeguarding dry brush and grass from the hot undercarriage.

To prevent damage to the Jeep’s rocker panels, Rockslide Engineering Rock Sliders were added. These heavy-duty rock sliders not only protect the body but also serve as convenient steps for easy entry and exit from the Jeep. When any of the Jeep doors are opened, a step drops from the sliders making it more convenient to get into this tall standing off-road rig. Additionally, safety features Rockslide has integrated prevent the step from being opened when it senses an obstruction in both the downward and upward action. These steps can also be manually turned on and off in the event you find yourself stopped over muddy or wet terrain.

For improved visibility on and off-road, the vehicle has been outfitted with Rigid Industries LED Lighting. These powerful and efficient lights ensure that the trails ahead are brightly lit, increasing safety and confidence during night-time adventures. The J.W. Speaker LED Headlights, on the other hand, offer excellent illumination on the road for a safer driving experience during all types of weather conditions. Their blacked out design also adds a nice touch to the front end of this already aggressive looking Jeep.

With a combination of suspension upgrades, performance enhancements, protective armor, recovery equipment, and advanced lighting, this Jeep is fully equipped to tackle trails and explore the great outdoors with confidence.
